RE Clarification on Wheeled Vehicles Usage Policy
There has evidently been some confusion recently and some inconsistency in the application of
our "Wheeled Vehicles Usage Policy" which I would like to clarify
Basically, there are three types of motorized wheeled vehicles that utilize the golf courses 1 )
Maintenance trucks, trailers, and vehicles, 2 ) Marshall/Ranger/Momtor Golf Carts and Food &
Beverage Carts, and 3 ) Regular Golf Carts for golfers
The Golf Course Superintendent or their designee is responsible for all determinations regarding
the physical conditions at their respective golf course, including the level of condition for the
usage of motorized wheeled vehicles
There are four usage levels depending on course conditions, as follows
Level 1 — Maintenance Vehicles Only for emergency or limited specialized purposes
Level 2 — Maintenance Vehicles, Marshall/Ranger/Momtor Golf Carts, and Food and Beverage
Carts Only
Level 3 — Same as Level 2, but also allows Medical Golf Carts
Level 4 — All Vehicles are allowed including Regular Golf Carts for golfers
The Superintendent is responsible for instructing employees of the Golf Professional and
Concessionaire on course access limitations in Level 2 The Golf Professional is responsible for
instructing golfers utilizing Medical Golf Carts on course access limitations in Level 3
