We charge one half of the Green Fees and waive Tournament Fees per day for the following City
Sponsored or Co -Sponsored Events The SouthRidge and Collmdale tnvitationals, City
Championships for Men, Women (both 9-hole and 18-hole), and Juniors, with Annual Pass cards
accepted in -lieu of fees for Juniors only
We waive the Tournament Fee for the "Fort Collins Fore Kids" Tournament, the City Senior Center
Tournament, the City "Just For Ladies" Tournament, and in prior years the City Recreation Program
Scholarship Tournament
Historically, City Park Nine has hosted a July 4th "Firecracker Tournament" where we accepted
Annual Passes and waived Tournament Fees, as we closed the course at 1 p m that day
Historically, Parks and Recreation has held between one to three 9-hole tournaments annually for City
CLRS Staff free of charge, including free golf cars Also, when Parks and Recreation "hosts" a State
meeting of some sorts, we have allowed a limited number of visiting municipal government folks to
play a round of golf free of charge, generally in a reciprocal fashion with other cities that host State
meetings The Golf Board has been allowed to play one free round of golf annually, also
Golf Staff plays as per the adopted "Staff Golf Course Usage Policy " We also allow visiting Golf
Professionals and staffs' to play free of charge on a very limited basis for professional courtesy Also,
as the Manager of Golf I have agreed to several significant tournaments over the years where fees
were waived, such as the upcoming Colorado Golf Association/U S G A events at Colhndale, and
the Colorado State Boy's High School Championships at Collmdale, etc
Group Fund Raisers
No discounts of any kind are provided to any other groups or charities for Tournaments, as our
Policy considers such fee reductions or waivers to be a "gift of public funds"
