T&E/PMJM/NLAA TAILS 65412-2007-TA-0627 SEP 6 2007 Jan Peterson, Ph D 39234 Scenic View Court Ault, Colorado 80610 Dear Jan Peterso`ni - -- - - --- -- This responds to your letter of August 6, 2007 concerning the Poudre River watercraft course in Fort Collins, Lanmer County, Colorado We have reviewed the Preble's Meadow Jumping Mouse Survey Report for the Poudre-River Watercraft Course Project Site in Lanmer County, Colorado, under the authority conferred to the U S Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) by the Endangered Species Act of 1973 (ESA), as amended (16 U S C 1531 et se9 ) Based on trapping survey results, i e no captures, the Service concludes that the Preble's meadow Jumping mouse. Zopus hudsomus preblei (Preble's), is not likely to be to be present at this site is therefore not likely to be adversely affected by this project Should additional information regarding listed or proposed species become available, this determination may be reconsidered under ESA On February 2, 2005 the U. S Fish and Wildlife Service issued a 12-Month finding on a petition to delist Prebte's Because of the complexity involved, the Service has extended original proposal.
