Dear Ms. Bracke:
A request has been made by City of Fort Collins staff to use our sub -consultant, Carter &
Burgess, for additional NEPA Environmental Assessment assistance. Attached is a proposal
from Carter & Burgess for the additional services. If this budget addendum is approved, our
contract budget for the BRT EA and PE should be revised as follows:

Dear Rich,
In a conversation I had last week, Kurt Ravenschlag with the City of Fort Collins requested that i provide an

BRT EA.
As part of the current scope, Carter & Burgess is preparing existing conditions sections for the following
resources: visual, noise and vibration, air quality and hazardous materials. Under this proposed scope Carter &
Burgess would update existing conditions for the following additional resources:
• Land use and zoning • Water resources and water quality
• Social • Floodplains
• Economic • Paleontological resources
• EJ • Parks and Recreation areas
• Wildlife & Fisheries • Trails
• Vegetation and noxious weeds
The estimate for the additional work is $12,730, including preparation of 8 graphics. This scope also assumes
the following:
• City is responsible for updating existing conditions for:
o Right-of-way
o Historic and archaeological resources
o Transportation (existing conditions and impacts)
• FHU is responsible for providing the necessary right -of --way information to the city and updating

o Threatened and endangered species
