In the event we are not able to establish a regular route with a local courier service, Duncan Business Services, Inc. will provide such Courier services utilizing our company vehicle and staff. Duncan Business Services. Inc. can accomplish co -mingling of the city's mail through a. presort bureau in order to achieve a lower postage rate on those pieces which do not meet minimum mailing requirements in terms of quantity, and for other mailings where it is deemed desirable. The city should be aware that not all levels of presort that are currently available will be possible fiollowing the LISPS Rate Case Currently before the Postal Board ofG jovernors and expected to be implemented in May of-2007. ']'his rate case will allect both the amount ol'postage and the classification and preparation of various classes of mail. Our bid is -,ubmitted with the caveat that future postage and mail preparation following the implementation of the rate case may need to be re -negotiated in order to comply with the (.'SPS requirements for automation mailings. Prices marked with "" represent our bid prices for mailings required metered postage, such postage to be pre -paid by the city into a postage retainer account consisting of 30 days of estimated postage for city mailings against which all metered postage for the city mailings will be drawn. A regular accounting of postage account activity will be provided based on a mutually agreed -upon tirriefrarne. If Duncan Business Service,,; Inc, must supply the postage and in -voice for reimbursement, our prices for those items marked with an "**' will be $641"N11.
