Proposal Details
Terms of Sale: FOB Origin-Frt Allowed
Proposal Valid Through: 10/6/2006
Payment Terms: Net 30 days from invoice date
Orders are accepted subject to Cooper Power Systems Terms and Conditions of Sale that are
included or have been provided previously to the buyer.
Proposal number and item number should be referenced on purchase order.
Quoted lead-times are based on current factory loading and are subject to change.
Lead-time: Shipment is based on receipt of all required order information at Cooper Power
Systems. X and Y (where applicable) are defined in the Item Details for each line item on this
proposal.
The prices on this quote are valid per the Proposal Validity listed in the Proposal Details section
of this proposal unless extended explicitly by Cooper Power Systems.
Prices quoted are for shipment per lead-time shown on this Cooper Power Systems proposal. If
there is a need to schedule the shipment later than the quoted lead-time, such as the use of the
Approval drawing process, the price will be adjusted per the Cooper Product Index (CPI) in effect
at the time of shipment. The CPI is available for your review on the Cooper Power Systems web
site: www.cooperpower.com/cpi
3.1.3.4: Adding undercoating to the bottom of the unit does not enhance the corrosion properties
of the paint system and shall not be provided. As an alternative, Cooper shall offer a partial
stainless steel unit that incorporates a 304 stainless steel tank base and bottom and cabinet sides
and sill (all parts within 2" of ground). A price adder of $145 for 45-500 kVA and $220 for 750
kVA and above should be applied per unit if this is desired.
3.2.2.1: Transformers 300 kVA and below, and 500 kVA @ 480Y/277 secondary will have two
piece low voltage bushings with studs and screw on spades as specified. Transformers 500 WA
@ 208Y/120 secondary will have one-piece bushings in lieu of the two piece specified.Table 1A:
Secondary CT mounting shalt be provided with extra holes in each low voltage bushing.
Mounting holes may be provided if this is not acceptable provided that the customer sends
drawings of the locations of the CT mounting.
4.3: Design tests such as temperature rise and audible sound tests shall not be performed on all
transformers as specified in the specification. Certification tests have been previously performed
on like transformers that show the design passes the requirements listed in ANSI C57.12.90.
These certification reports can be furnished upon request. Temperature rise or heat run tests may
be performed for a cost adder of $1600 per transformer and an increase in leadtime of two
weeks.Noise level or audible sound level tests may be performed for a cost adder of $1600 per
transformer and an increase in lead time of one week.Every unit receives one reduced voltage
impulse wave and one full impulse wave as a standard. If full ANSI impulse tests are required,
they may be performed for a cost adder of $1800 for the high voltage side, $1800 for the low
voltage side or $3000 for both the high and low voltage sides for each transformer.
