Questions and Answers
1. For the saddle tees of 200 each. Are you looking for molded PVC style? If so, we will
need to know the size of the main; for example 12”x4” saddle tee, 15”x4” saddle tee, etc.
Or are you looking for the universal style fernco makes?
Answer: Molded PVC. Sizing for all 200 EA = 8” Main, 4” Tap (e.g. GPK 136-0084 or
similar)
2. On the 4” 22.5,45, and couplers are gasket by gasket?
Answer: No. Bell and spigot style
3. For bid item “Saddle Tee, 4” PVC” what is the size of the main the saddle tee will be
attaching to?
Answer: See answer to #1.
4. Also, wanted to clarify that you are requesting a saddle tee and not a saddle wye?
Answer: We are requesting a Saddle Tee.
5. Is this a single buy or a multi-year purchase?
Answer: This is a one-time order for projects in 2025.
6. On the 4” Saddle Tees, I assume the 4” is your outlet, what size is the mainline you want
me to quote these as? 8”x4”, 10”x4”, etc.
Answer: See answer to #1.
7. On the 4” bends, do you want those to be bell x bell or bell x spigot? And is it safe to
assume these are gasketed bends?
Answer: See answer to #2.
