ADDENDUM NO. 1
Description of ITB 10159: Zach Elementary School Crossing
ITB DUE DATE: 3:00 PM (Mountain Time) June 6, 2025
To all prospective Bidders under the Invitation to Bid documents described above, the following
changes/additions are hereby made and detailed in the following sections of this addendum:
Exhibit 1- Questions and Answers
Exhibit 2 – Section 00485 Buy America Certification (ALL Bidders must complete
and submit this document with their bid)
Exhibit 3 – Revised Bid Schedule

Exhibit 1 – Questions and Answers
1. Could you please clarify what traffic signal equipment will be provided by the City and
what the selected Contractor will need to provide?
Response:
The following items will be provided by the City for Contractor to install:
• 4 - Signal poles/mast arms for Jupiter & Kechter
• 1 - Traffic cabinet for Jupiter & Kechter
• 1 - Controller for Jupiter & Kechter
• 4 - RRFB indications for Cinquefoil & Kechter
• 1 - RRFB cabinet for Cinquefoil & Kechter
The Contractor will need to:
• Furnish and install the cabinet base for the Jupiter cabinet
• Furnish and install the pedestal poles for the RRFB at Cinquefoil
• Furnish and install signs for RRFB at Cinquefoil
• Furnish and install all wire for both locations
2. Who is responsible for material sampling and testing?
Response: The Owner (City of Fort Collins) will perform acceptance testing and it is the
responsibility of the selected Contractor to preform process control testing per the
CDOT Standard Specifications, see Section 106.
3. Can you look at the quantities you have for Traffic Control Inspection and Traffic Control
Management? They appear to be low.
Response: The quantities are low and will be revised to be the following, see attached
updated Bid Schedule Exhibit 3.
