Answer: 57 2) How many vehicles are equipped with APCs? Answer: 57 3) What are the make/model(s) of APCs? Answer: Clever Devices APCs (Receiver and Transmitter), Iris Infrared Intelligent Sensors (only on electric vehicles). 4) Is raw APC data currently offloaded from your vehicles by Clever Devices? If not, how is data transferred from the vehicles? Answer: Yes, Clever Devices offloads this data. 5) Is your Clever Devices CAD/AVL system cloud hosted or on premise? Answer: On premise 6) Are your APCs currently NTD certified? Answer: Yes. 7) Are you going through a recertification process this year? Answer: Yes. 8) For the RFP planned to be released in Q3 2025 are you anticipating the selected vendor to complete NTD certification by the April 30, 2026 deadline? Answer: No. 9) Do APC-equipped buses also have on-board security cameras? If so, what make/model? If so, what make/model? Answer: Yes, CradlePoint IBR1700 11) Does the City own/manage the routers or are they managed through your CAD/AVL vendor or other third party? Answer: Managed by Transfort IT 12) Do the routers have GPS antennas connected today? Answer: Yes 13) Do the routers have internet access (can we send data to the internet from inside the bus?) Answer: Yes 14) How many Ethernet ports (router and/or ethernet switch) are currently available on the vehicles? Answer: 5 ports on the routers, 2 open. Switches are only for security video use . 15) What is the anticipated RFP release date for this project? Answer: The RFP is planned to be released in Q3 2025. 16) Does APC system need to be integrated with existing CAD/AVL platform? Answer: Yes 17) What ITS hardware technology is currently on your buses? Answer: Yes, though we would like to see more information /context in the proposal. 19) Would you consider a system that also replaces your CCTV system? Answer: No 20) You have 45 buses of various lengths: 35 ft; 40 ft; 60 ft. What # of cameras do they currently have? Answer: 29ft, 35ft, and 40ft buses have 8 cameras. 60ft buses have 9 cameras. 21) How is the data from the buses transmitted to the main office currently? Do you need us to provide a solution? Answer: Over cellular/wifi connection through the router.
