Is there a known budget for this project? No specific budget has been indicated. 2. Are there set dates or expected windows that are preferred for macroinvertebrate and pebble count sampling to align with previously collected data, more specific than Spring/Summer? We did see that fish sampling is expected to occur the first week of November. Pebble count studies and macroinvertebrate sampling on the North Fork Poudre River will need to occur around September UCLP macroinvertebrate sampling will occur in September Spring and summer macroinvertebrate monitoring for the LPRMA will occur in April and August, respectively. LPRMA fish sampling will occur during the first week of November. 3. Can you define “qualified taxonomist”? Do taxonomists need to be SFS Certified? Would a previous/expired certification suffice? Taxonomic expertise can range widely and the SFS certification is preferred. In most cases, professional taxonomists should have the credentials. In the case of a previous/expired certification, please be prepared to demonstrate expertise. 4. Based on the descriptions for fish monitoring, one backpack electroshocker has been used to collect previous data. Have multiple backpack units been necessary for any of the sites? One electroshocking unit has typically been enough as flow are low in November. 5. To clarify, will the City provide TMDL data for the Service Provider to determine sediment impacts to aquatic life (section c) via the Halligan Water Quality Monitoring Program, or will the Service Provider need to collect necessary data to perform these calculations? The vendor is expected to collect and analyze data from the North Fork as outlined in the RFP and CDPHE Policy 98-1. Mention of the existing sediment TMDL in the RFP is only to provide the vendor with context for why the sampling and analyses are necessary.
