ADDENDUM NO. 2
Description of Invitation to Bid (ITB) 10106: Schoolside Park
ITB DUE DATE: 3:00 PM (Mountain Time) February 14, 2025
To all prospective Bidders under the invitation to bid documents described above, the following
changes/additions are hereby made and detailed in the following sections of this addendum:

Exhibit 1 – Questions and Answers
1. Q - Should we plan on caulking and painting of exterior siding, board and batten and trim in
the field-the assumption would be to have it come factory primed with paint and caulk
applied in field
RESPONSE: This unit will come with factory primer and paint. It is not anticipate that the
Contractor will responsible for priming, painting or caulking of the restroom.
2. Q - Is the door and frame requiring field finish-this is also not mentioned
RESPONSE: No field finish will be required of the door and frame.
3. Q - The concrete at bathroom shelters at park is normally at the very least sealed with a
basic densifier sealer for stain resistance-should we plan to provide and install a basic
sealer at this time?
RESPONSE: The specifications for the concrete under the open-air picnic shelter does not
call for a sealer. The finishes inside of the restroom unit will be provided by the restroom
vendor.
4. Q - Drawings show CMU walls at the bathroom shelters, in the past the CMU is block filled
and coated with a Precast Epoxy paint for washability purposes-it is not called for at this
time on the prints. Should we plan on block fill and paint.
RESPONSE: The interior finishes for the restroom are being provided by the restroom
vendor.
5. Q – The interior ceiling at the restroom is not specified as to whether it is exposed or Gyp
and also no clarity on whether it will receive a finish or not
RESPONSE: The interior finishes for the restroom are being provided by the restroom
vendor.
6. Q - The Port O let enclosure is calling for Redwood, it would be the assumption this would
require at the very least a clear coat. Could we please get clarity in regard to the intended
field finish, if any, for the port o let wood enclosure
RESPONSE: Yes, please include pricing to provide a clear seal coat to the wood. Also
include cost to apply a non-sacrificial anti-graffiti coating to wood as well (Sherwin Williams
Anti-Graffiti Coating; Clear; B97C00150 or approved equal).
7. Q – There appears to be a duplication of an item in the bid tab. Item 03 30 00 Concrete
Paving - Playground Ramp 1 EA & Item 32 13 00 Concrete - Playground Ramp 1 EA seem to
reference the same work item as I only see one playground ramp in the plans.
RESPONSE: Correct, only one playground ramp is required. Bid form has been updated to
reflect this change, please see attached update bid form.
