Questions and Answers
1.Davis Bacon Wages – can all work associated with the reroof including sheet metal and
carpentry be treated as “roofing work”?
If the work in question is typically a function of a "roofer" labor classification and/or
worker then the wage determination could fall under "roofer." That said, the wage
determination does have different wage rates broken out and even if the same people
are doing different work - i.e. the same person is doing sheet metal work is also doing
carpentry, it would be more appropriate to match the rate of the appropriate labor
classification.
2.Please confirm the existing parapet cap is to remain.

Scope Of Work
The goals of this project are to provide a new water-tight roof, re-use existing
roofing insulation, add new insulation to meet current building codes, and
raise existing curbs and hatches for the height of the new roof. A traffic
control plan shall be provided for shutting down the east alley whenever
crane services are required. This scope of work does not include any work to
the TPO roof on the adjacent north roof.

Asbestos abatement to be completed prior to Demolition
Coordination with Project Manager on HVAC shut down and start up
