To all prospective Vendors under the invitation to bid documents described above, the following
changes/additions are hereby made and detailed in the following sections of this addendum:

Exhibit 1 – Questions and Answers
1. On the bid submittal form for the 2025 asphalt supply the WMA and HMA are
combined to have one single unit price for each item number rather than separating
each item number out to be priced independently for WMA and HMA. An alternative
as done previously is to price all asphalt as traditional HMA and have a single line
for the additional cost per ton to use WMA. As it sits currently you are requiring
contractors to cover the additional costs associated with WMA while the City of Fort
Collins will be purchasing HMA 99% of the time.
Response: Currently, pricing pertains only to Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) production. If
the City requires substantial Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA) in the future, a separate line
item for WMA additive costs will be added to the contract or a subsequent
amendment will be created. Please see attached updated bid schedule that
removes WMA.

IN ADDITION TO THE BID SCHEDULE PRICES FOR EACH MIX DESIGN LISTED ABOVE,
VENDORS MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING LIQUID ASPHALT COSTS FOR THE 2025
SEASON. ALL PRICES ARE NOT TO BE ADJUSTED FOR THE ENTIRETY OF THIS
AGREEMENT. THESE PRICES ARE INTENDED TO BE LOCKED IN FOR THE LENGTH OF
THE AGREEMENT FROM DATE SIGNED TO THE SAME DATE IN THE FOLLOWING YEAR.
