How many trucks does the City require for this bid, would it be acceptable to bid only one tandem? Response: Yes. It is perfectly acceptable to have only one tandem on the bid sheet. The order of truck selection on any given day will be based on price per hour for that truck. 2. Will I have a possibility to still be awarded if not bidding any additional equipment (skid steer, excavator, etc.)? Response: Yes. No other equipment is required to participate in this contract. 3. What type of hauling material you where looking for; Sand, squeegee, crushed asphalt, pea gravel, and/or all other aggregate materials? Also, how many tons need to be hauled? Response: The primary material being hauled will be asphalt millings and hot mix asphalt. Jobsites will be various locations throughout the City of Fort Collins. Millings will be deposited at the City’s crushing facility located at 1380 Hoffman Mill Rd. Hot mix asphalt will be picked up from various plants in the area and delivered to the jobsites upon request. Tonnages for projects change on a daily basis.
