Addendum # 1
RFP 10097 NW Fort Collins Arterial Bikeway Study
Exhibit 1 – Questions and Answers
1. Are there additional points available in the evaluation scoring for women and/or minority
owned business?
Response: This RFP does not have a goal for Disadvantage Business Enterprises (DBE),
therefore additional points are not available for women and minority owned businesses.
However, the City encourages all DBE’s to submit proposals.
2. Are there additional points available in the evaluation scoring for new businesses or those
who have not worked with Fort Collins in the past 3 years?
Response: This RFP does not have additional points offered to new businesses or those
who have not worked with the City in the past (3) years. However, the City does encourage
all firms interested to submit proposals.
3. Many times, the planning prioritization work and demonstrations projects outlined in the
RFP require before and after bikeway data collection, peak hour intersection traffic data,
parallel street “cut through” data, and vehicle speed data. Should lead firms include a data
collection company on the team? Or will the city collect data outside of this contract?
Response: Firms are welcome to but are not required to include a data collection company
on the team. The City may collect data outside of this contract to support the project.
