Is pay out per occurrence? a. Payments may vary depending on submittal and receipt of the invoices. On average payment should be received between 30 to 45 after the invoice has been submitted. 2. How often will we be needed? a. Depending on the number of abatement requests and the number of Service Providers awarded the bid. This does fluctuate due to the seasonality of violations. On average during the spring/summer and early fall we typically send out approximately 5 to 10 abatements per week; such as mowing a yard/vacant field and rubbish/trash removal. During winter months the typical abatement requests may increase significantly dependent on seasonal snow accumulation. 3. What is your response time requirements? a. Please review Notification for Abatement on page 6 of the Bid. Performance The Service Provider shall complete each job as assigned within forty-eight (48) hours of receiving the abatement request. If the job is not completed within forty-eight (48) hours, the City Representative reserves the right to assign the job to another Service Provider of the City’s choice or allow for the original Service Provider to complete the job. Exception- sidewalk snow removal; which does have a shorter timeframe due to the safety concern of unshovled sidewalks. The abatement list is provided to the Service Provider a day ahead of abatement, with work to begin the next morning, and until the provided list is completed; which may necessitate an additional day depending on quantity of properties.
