To all prospective bidders under the specifications and contract documents described above, the
following changes/additions are hereby made and detailed in the following sections of this
addendum:

Questions and Answers from PreBID Meeting
1. Will the City request additional unit costs for possible Change Orders?
A: No. Any Change Order costs will be mutually agreed upon between the City and the
awarded Contractor.
2. Will the vents need to be replaced in order to meet manufacturer warranty and
installation specifications?
A: Please inquire with the manufacturer that you are proposing to use to verify
3. Are the walkway pads to be replaced?
A:Yes, and to be replaced and reset where they are currently.
4. Where is the staging area?
A: To the east of the facility roughly 100 yards where the two modular trailers are located
5. There is roughly 800 ft of delineated area on T5. It is doubtful that the manufacturer
would warrant the installation of material over this area without repairing it first. How do
we BID that repair?
A: BID the project as if the area would not need to be repaired to meet manufacturer
installation and warranty specifications. Any repair will be negotiated as a Change Order
with the awarded Contractor.
6. Is the perimeter metal flashing to be replaced?
A: Yes, color – white.
7. Are the Contractors permitted to use the Facility Restrooms?
A: No. The Awarded Contractor is to provide their own portable restroom for the length
of the project.
8. What are the hours of construction for the project?
A: Monday – Thursday from 6:00 AM MT – 6:00 PM MP
9. Is the Lighting protection to be removed and replaced by the contractor or the owner?
A: This will be self performed by the owner (City).
10. Confirm that no moisture is to be permitted between the layers.
A: No moisture is permitted between the layers during installation of the product.
11. Will VersiFleece EPDM be permitted as an approved substitute for the Carlisle product?
A: The City’s preference is Carlisle, but the City is willing to entertain and is encouraging
the submittal of other manufacturer products so long as they meet both the City’s Design
and Construction Standards as well as being fully warrantied after installation by the
manufacturer including, but not limited to, a 20 year warranty and 120 mph wind rating.
-If a prospective Bidder is to submit an alternative product it is a requirement to submit a
manufacturers specifications sheet along with the BID.
-If a prospective Bidder carries multiple manufacturers they are encouraged to submit
multiple Bid forms to reflect each manufacturer.
12. Will a core-cut sample be performed and results shared with the prospective
Contractors?
A: No, but we can confirm that the insulation thickness is 4”. See attached for reference.
13. Has a structural analysis of the facility been performed?
A: No
14. Has any ASM testing been performed at the facility?
A: No
