Answer: Yard trimming, wood scraps and branches are located at the Timberline Recycling Center Hard-To-Recycle area. The Hard-To-Recycle area is closed off to the public unless a gatehouse attendant is present. This ensures that all loads will be inspected when it is delivered to the site by the staff, if contaminated the load will be rejected for drop off. 2) Is the site staffed by City personnel? Answer: The site is tentatively scheduled to be staffed by City personnel in August or September 2024. 3) Is it a controlled site only open and accessible when staffed? Answer: Yes, it is a controlled site to ensure removal of contamination. 4) Will the City agree to a structured process for inspection of inbound loads that will determine acceptance at agreed upon rates or rejection and or sortation upon receipt for additional fees based on contamination levels? Answer: Yes, the City of Fort Collins will have an established ‘Operations Plan’ that will incorporate a structured process for inspection of all inbound loads. The City is also open to adding additional checks and balances to ensure reduction/elimination of contaminated materials. 5) Thank you for including the previous two years’ worth of volume for each category. Does the City have growth projections for the 1 + 4 optional years in the terms of the contract? Answer: Currently we are expecting a 2 % increase each year.
