The attendees at the first mandatory pre-bid do not need to attend the second. If any additional items are discussed, they will be provided to all via addendum. Contractors wishing to bid must have attended one of the pre-bid meetings. A1: We’d like to work it out so that the roof can be demoed, the HVAC units installed, and then the new roof be completed. Q2: What is the thickness of the test cuts? A2: See attached test cuts. Q3: Does everything use 115 membrane? A3: Yes, see scope of work in bid. Membrane shall be 115 mil total thickness with FleeceBack. Q4: Is tapered insulation needed for proper slope, are all the roofs flat? A4: Yes, see scope of work in bid. Positive slope to roof drains required for flat roofs. Q5: Is there sensitive equipment in the buildings? Do we need to protect it? A5: Yes, please include interior protection for the buildings. Q6: What are the work hours? A6: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Q7: For the South Process Train Intermediate Lift Building, how does it drain? A7: Install scupper(s) and provide positive slope to scupper(s) for drainage. This is to be included in the Base Bid Price for all bidders. The City is open to alternatives for drainage and has added an Alternate (add or deduct) to the Bid Schedule. Please provide specifications & drawings for the alternative. Cost for the alternative solution is to be provided in the Alternate section of the Bid Schedule, which is uploaded to BidNet as a separate Word document.
