On Page 8 of the RFP, under PROFESSIONAL SERVICES subsection 1. DESIGN SERVICES, it lists ‘g. Construction Management.’ Can you clarify if this is meant to be ‘Construction Management’ or ‘Construction Administration’ for services provided? A: Construction Management or Construction Administration services are the services to assist the City in evaluating items such as drawing clarifications for proposing Contractors as well as assisting in reviewing the completed work of the project to ensure that the project has been completed per the specifications that have been outlined by the Architectural and Engineering firm. 2. For Submittal Requirement #9, are you looking for a list of equipment manufacturers that we work with or a list of local reps for the equipment? Are you just looking for the equipment that is expected to be replaced based on the project list? A: We are simply trying to see which companies and representation you have experience working with so that we can review that information as part of your proposals. 3. Under the Design Services, please expand on what is meant by item (g) Construction Management being a necessary design service. Is this meant to refer to Construction Administration (ie… attending OAC meetings, answering RFI’s, submittals) services during the construction of the project? A: See answer to question 1.
