Should we prepare our proposal to move the UPS into the adjacent IT room and not replace in its existing location? A: The proposal should incorporate moving the system to the adjacent room to the west, across the hallway. The new location is about 25 feet from the current location. 2. Should the proposal be priced to include normal working hours or afterhours? A: Normal business hours. 3. What is the backup runtime minimum required for the system? A: 2 Hour minimum 4. Will there an addendum issued that addresses electrical scope that includes extending the electrical feed to the new location of the UPS and the installation of an electrical distribution panel for the load side of the UPS? From what we understood during the pre- bid meeting the new UPS will be placed in the IT room next to the electrical room where the current UPS is housed, and the city would like to install a distribution panel to feed the existing loads fed from the UPS. A: Yes, the electrical will need to be extended to the new location across the hall. Installing a distribution panel where the existing UPS is located might make for an easier transition.
