Description of BID 9767: PFA Training Facility Parking Lot Addition
BIDS DUE: 3:00 PM MT (Our Clock) March 22, 2023
To all prospective bidders under the specifications and contract documents described above,
the following changes/additions are hereby made and detailed in the following sections of this
addendum:
Exhibit 1 – Questions and Answers
Q1. Will you be able to provide CAD for this project so we can double check
earthwork quantities?
Response: CAD design information can be made available to the contractor following
award of the contract. Prior to release of the files, the contractor would be required to
accept an electronic license agreement from J-U-B Engineers, Inc.
The provisions in the Electronic Documents/Data License can be accessed at the following
website: https://web.jub.com/electronic-documents/.
Q2. Regarding the City furnished crushed concrete base material for the access
road, will it be on site and accessible to move with a loader or will it need to be
loaded and hauled in tandems?
Response: The stockpiled material is expected to be within a couple hundred yards of the
project site and will be easily accessible. The contractor’s means and methods will dictate
how the material is transported.
Q3. Will the City provide proctors for the City furnished crushed concrete base
material, or will we need to get testing done on it to ensure it will meet the
specifications?
Response: The City will perform material sampling and testing necessary to meet the
Quality Assurance (QA) test requirements on this project. If requested, the City will furnish
copies of the test results to the contactor.
The contractor should account for all material laboratory and testing services that are
necessary to perform the required Quality Control (QC) testing of the Work. The contractor
shall provide passing test results from an AASHTO accredited laboratory electronically
sealed by a Professional Engineer. Testing shall be in accordance with Project Special
Provision - Revision of Section 106.

Q3. Will construction water be available at the jobsite?
Response: There is an existing fire hydrant on the north side of the training facility that can be
utilized.
