To all prospective bidders under the specifications and contract documents described above, the
following changes/additions are hereby made and detailed in the following sections of this
addendum:

Questions & Answers
Q1: Do the HVAC curbs go away on the Chlorine Building? What is required underneath for
patching the deck correctly?
A1: The HVAC Contractor will raise the units. The City will coordinate the schedule. Roofing
Contractor should not include HVAC work in their bid.
Q2: HVAC Contractor has the detail of the new curbs?
A2: HVAC equipment is anticipated to be installed on existing curbs. No curb modifications
are anticipated.
Q3: Have the roof cores been done?
A3: Yes, roof core information is attached.
Q4: The rock that is on top of each roof – will the City be keeping it? And if yes, then where
will it need to be moved to?
A4: Yes, the City will be keeping it and the rock can be moved to a location that is on-site.
Q5: What is the ceiling at each building?
A5: The Chlorine building has a metal ceiling, and the SPT Intermediate Lift Building has a
concrete ceiling. See attached roof core information.
Q6: Are any changes being made to the HVAC units on the Chlorine Building?
A6: Yes, the HVAC contractor will be replacing the four (4) exhaust fans in-kind. The
goosenecks off of the existing equipment will be used.
Q7: Is the VersiFleece TPO Membrane System an acceptable substitution (see attached
detail and specifications)?
A7: Yes, this is an acceptable substitution.
