Please provide additional information regarding the existing bridge to be utilized on this project including weight, length, width, thickness of IPE, photos, location and will it be the Contractor's responsibility to relocate this bridge to this jobsite? Response: The structure is 10' inside to inside x 40' long, weight is 14kips+/-. Contractor to verify existing IPE thickness on the structure and match existing Contractor shall verify all measurements and weights prior to placing or moving the structure. The Contractor will be responsible for relocating the bridge to the project site. Contractors can visit the bridge which is at the southwest corner of Timberline and Prospect, next to the silos. This location is owned by the City of Fort Collins. 2. Please advise if this project is to be an import, export or balanced site it is not clear from the cross sections and if it is an export site can the excess material be brought to the future Bacon Park site? Response: It is anticipated that there will be excess material from the excavation quantities that can be placed at the future Bacon Park site. 3. What color is all concrete pavement to be? Response: The colored concrete is to be Davis Color “Yosemite Brown”. Refer to specification page 47 subsection 608.02 for more information 4. For the school fence removal work, can this be accomplished while school is in session? Response: Yes, it can. The area is considered detention and is enclosed in fencing on all sides so kids/students cannot get into that area 5. What permits will the Contractor be responsible for procuring? Response: Contractor shall be responsible for all permits required to perform the work in accordance with the contract. These may include: Traffic Control Permit, Fort Collins Excavation Permit/ROW Permit, Stormwater and Erosion Control Permit, Dewatering Permit, Stormwater Management Plan Permit (SWMP) and others as needed. 6. Please provide what scope will be required for tree removal? Response: The Contractor is responsible to have a licensed arborist conduct the tree removals. Prior to the tree removals a pre-demo meeting will need to take place with the City of Fort Collins Forestry Department, the Arborist, Contractor and Owner. 7. Please confirm where Contractor will be able to access the site off of Timberline and Tilden? Response: Yes, the selected Contractor will have access off of Timberline and Tilden. Refer to the plan set sheet 70 – Traffic Control Plan for information on required signage and flaggers in these areas. 8. Please provide the specification for the borrow liner material. Response: Refer to specifications page 12, Subsection 203.02 (g) Borrow (Ditch Liner) Addendum 1 Page 3 of 3 9. In reviewing the project specifications, a seed mix was not found, can you please provide the required seed mix. Response: See below native seed mix. Also refer to page 37 of the specs, revision of section 212 soil ammendments, seeding and sodding Table 212- for Temporary Seed Mixes 10. Are you able to provide the CAD files for this project for estimating purposes? Response: CAD files will be issued to the selected Contractor.
