Questions & Answers
Q1: For the #9716 Ft Collins Util Misc Concrete project, are there bid bond or perf/pmt bonds
required? Can you give the approx. NTP start date and substantial complete dates?
A1: We don’t have a specific project in the bid that we’ve issued. We are hoping to award a
few contracts to Contractors based on the pricing in the Bid Schedule. We’ll also review
the experience of each firm and may check references. The intent is to have a pool of
firms who can do the work and then choose from them (or bid amongst them) when a
need arises. The projects that are anticipated from these contracts will not need bid
bonds or perf/pymnt bonds. When a project manager has a specific need, he will contact
the firm(s) and provide specific information about the project and will ask for a quote
specific to the project, with that pricing to be based on the rates provided in your bid
response.
