Not a week goes by thaf we are not contacted by what appears to be well-capifalized, nationally-focused developers seeking opportunities to provide off-campus howsing for C.S.U. students in close proximity to the main campus. The site at South College Avenue and West Drake Road seems I.ike a prime location fo,r King Soopers to consider a joint venfure totake full adyantage'of being along the MAX and only 1:25 milesfrom the MAX stop at C.S.U. At the Preliminary Design Review, staff emphasized that the Midtown Plan calls for a mix of land uses alongthe MAX. Please take a look at the two links below.
