RE: 2021 Agreement Change, 8691 - Fourth of July Fireworks
Dear Mr. Burnett:
The City has completed its evaluation of 2021 summer events in light of present and possible future
guidelines in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. After careful deliberation, the City has decided to
cancel the 2021 Fourth of July Fireworks display. While the fireworks display is a much loved community
event, the unique circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic are not conducive for holding this
event in 2021.
Therefore, this letter serves as formal notice and confirmation of mutual agreement that the City will not
be utilizing the services set forth in the Services Agreement dated April 3, 2018 for the 2021 Fourth of July
celebration (the “Agreement”).
The City wishes to remain under contract with your firm pursuant to the renewal letter dated January 11,
2021, as the City anticipates that this year’s cancellation due to extraordinary circumstances will not be
the case in 2022.

By signing below, Western Enterprises hereby reaffirms and acknowledges the City’s cancellation of
services under the Agreement for the 2021 Fourth of July Fireworks display at no cost or liability to the
City.
