I have reviewed the documentation provided to the building department on
the North Lemay P.U.D. for compliance with the adopted Model Energy Code.
The calculations appear to address sections of Chapter 5 from that Code.
As far as those calculations go, the design does seem to meet and exceed
minimum standards for heat loss. To quantify this statement, it could be
said that this design exceeds the state code by 40% for the Convenience
store and by 39% on the Retail store.
