To all prospective bidders under the specifications and contract documents described above,
the following changes/additions are hereby made and detailed in the following sections of this
addendum:

1. Who is the current supplier and price for Hydrofluosilicic acid?
Univar USA Inc. and $514.00 per ton with freight included.
2. Are you looking for pricing for wet or dry tons?
Wet tons
3. WTF EMS Document - Contractor Management Environmental Checklist & EMS Guide for
Contractors and Vendors Checklist: Are these required to be submitted with the bid?
Per the solicitation Section 3 Paragraph 2: “In addition, the attached FCWTF Standard
Operating Procedures (SOP), EMS Guide for Contractors and Vendors, and EMS Checklist
are to be followed. EMS Guide for Contractors and Vendors and EMS Checklist are for
reference only and do not need to be filled out at this time. Lack of compliance with these
two documents, after PO issuance is grounds for cancellation of the purchase
order/agreement.”
4. Does the city accept assay adjusted invoices, quantity adjusted invoices, or AS IS price per
Ton invoicing?
a. Assay adjusted: Bid unit price is submitted on a 23% assay and on the invoice Unit
price will be adjusted based upon the assay of the product per delivery, based upon
supplied Certificate of Analysis.
b. Quantity adjusted: Bid unit price is submitted on a 23% assay, and on invoice
Quantity of delivery is adjusted based upon assay delivered listed on Certificate of
Analysis.
c. AS IS per ton: no adjusting is done either on unit price or quantity delivered on the
actual assay delivered listed on the CofA.
5. What is the estimated date of contract start?
June 1, 2022
6. Will the city change their specification listed under HFS 1 C: (Delivery must be from the
“Riverview” source only.) Since this Mosaic location is no longer supplying HFS to the
market, will you accept HFS that is from other manufacturers than Mosaic? i.e. JR Simplot
material from Rock Spring or Nutrien PCS Sales from Aurora, NC and others?
We will consider other sources, as long as the product meets all of our specifications.

7. The annual volume is indicated as 105 tons. Is weight on a 24% basis or a 100% basis?
This is weight of delivered product in solution.
8. Are you evaluating bids on a 24% basis or 100% basis?
Bids will be evaluated based on the delivered product in solution.
9. What is the typical delivery volume?
About 44,000 pounds, or about 4,000 gallons.
