Questions and Answers
1. We were looking over the bid posted and noticed is for flaked product. Are you open to
using a solution due to the constraints on flaked?
We are looking for a solution, not flaked.
2. Who is the current supplier and price?
Evoqua Water Technologies LLC and $0.594/pound and FOB.
3. In regard to this item in the bid language: FCWTF requires that all manufacturers of sodium
chlorite have their product tested int eh FCWTF pilot plant for a period of one year. Any
manufacturer failing to meet the one year study is not considered a potential supplier. If we
haven’t had out product tested then we shouldn’t bid?
We can test the product of the selected bidders using an accelerated schedule prior to
purchases.
