June 30, 1988 City of Fort Collins Engineering Department 300 LaPorte Ave. Fort Collins, CO 80522 RE: Amoco Station No. 5401, Elizabeth and Tafthill Road Dear Sirs: Amoco Oil is in the process of rehabilitating the existing service station located at the southwest corner of Elizabeth and Tafthill Road. The remodeling consists of adding a carwash to the rear (west) of the existing building, and erecting a canopy over new pumps to be located in the same location as the existing pumps. As both of these new additions will be placed over areas of existing paving, no increase in runoff will be anticipated. In fact, approximately 16% of the site will be landscaped, which, as no landscaping currently exists, will reduce the expected runoff proportionately. The grades on the site will remain the same, as the existing building will remain. Therefore we request that the normal storm drainage submittal requirements be waived, as the proposed construction does not impact the existing storm drainage. Sincerely, HOLLAND VJFPTr0.INC.
