The property is 110.6344 acres of Interstate Highway 25 right of way located between County Road 48 and County Road 52. The proposed annexation is known as Highway I-25 First Annexation. It is the city's policy to annex properties within the Urban Growth Area when they become eligible for annexation. This action is not being taken for the sole purpose of acquiring jurisdiction over private property. Our office has prepared the petition package according to your Procedural Directive No. 1303.1 dealing with annexation of Department land to a city or town.
