This letter is to inform you this office was questioned about the use of multiple illegal dwelling
units at 617 Duke Ln. After seeing a recent listing, it has been determined that there are two
illegal dwelling units at the above listed address.
Our records indicate that this is a single-family home. We do not have a Certificate of
Occupancy on file for this property as it being a legal, conforming duplex nor do we have a
Certificate of Occupancy on file for a legal dwelling unit above the garage. If you have
information to the contrary, please provide it to our office. Otherwise, you will have to remove
the separate cooking facilities from the basement and the loft above the garage to convert it back
to a single-family residence. Any electrical or gas line that serves the cooking equipment in both
locations will also need to be removed.
The above items are in violation and shall be corrected within 30 days of the date of this letter.
Please notify me within 30 days to verify that the above items have been corrected.
