Collins, CO 80525 RE: [1"320_'Luke_Street, Ft: Collins, Colorado Advanced Engineering, LLC Project Number 2745-06-01C Dear Mr. Runkles: LLC CRAFTING wW A' /6 /y y1z' a/c (-::137a1_z7Z We have reviewed photographs of portions of the above referenced residence on March 27, 2019. These photographs show two 38" square by 12" deep saw -cut holes in the basement slab for new footing pads, as well as #4 reinforcement bars spaced at 12" on -center each way in the holes. It is our opinion the footing pads and reinforcement are in general conformance with our Floor Framing Reinforcement Plan, Project Number 2745-06-01 B, dated February 25, 2019. It is our understanding the posts bearing on the new footing pads are slightly off center, it is our opinion this is acceptable. We have also been asked to provide structural consulting regarding several other items. We were asked if the new basement partition walls required partition voids. It is our opinion that the new basement partition walls do not need voids due to the existing walls not being voided, and because there is an existing bearing wall on the slab down the center of the basement. We were also asked if the new steel angle lintel supporting brick veneer over the west enlarged basement window opening could be a 6x4x5/16 instead of a 6x4x3/8, it is our opinion that this is acceptable. We were asked if the headers over the new enlarged basement window openings could be supported by two pressure treated 2x8 trim studs on each end, it is our opinion that this is acceptable if the trim studs are bolted to the adjacent concrete wall. We have also reviewed photographs of five exterior wall studs that were drilled for a 2" diameter pipe and reinforced with Simpson Stud Shoes, we feel this is acceptable. The conclusions presented in this, letter are based on the referenced plan and information you provided. Our review was limited to the items described in this letter, and is not intended to cover other structural, mechanical, electrical, environmental, mold, site grading, or architectural features of the building. Any discrepancies or structural deficiencies revealed during construction should be brought to the attention of the engineer. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you.
