Re open excavation and forms observation at the residence at
( 18 Lyons Street, Fort Collins
Dear Mr Whitin
During construction Crown Jade Design and Engineering
(CJDE) personnel observed the soil at the bottom of the excavation
for the home foundation system at the above address This soil
consisted of a clayey sand and is capable of supporting a maximum
soil bearing pressure of 2,000 pounds per square foot per the 2015
International Residential Code Table R401 4 1
We also observed the footing widths and reinforcing steel
placed in the foundation forms at the sub3ect site All observed
footing widths and foundation wall reinforcement met the
specifications for size, type and installation as per the plans
on file at the pro3ect site

This bid includes installing our basic perimeter drain system. If the engineer requires something different the price
will subsequently change. If we need to go around any counterforts or footings that are unforseen there will be an
additional charge of $5.75 a foot
