As per your request, JVA, Inc. visited the Project site once prior to construction, and twice during
construction. We observed the following:
1) Existing conditions. Subsequent to observing the existing conditions, we produced sketches
indicating ramp reinforcing and concrete specifications.
2) Initial concrete demolition and ramp grading.
3) In -place ramp reinforcing.
4) Final concrete placement.
We also reviewed progress photographs sent to us by Erik Larson of the CSU Energy Institute.
In our opinion, the ramp excavation, reinforcing, and concrete placement matched, or exceeded, the
requirements outlined in the design sketches produced by JVA Inc.
