On 9/24/2019, City records indicate that the above building permit will expire and all work authorized
thereunder must stop. The permit applicant and property owner of record can elect one of the options
below depending on whether or not the permit has expired.
BEFORE THE PERMIT EXPIRES
1. Obtain a required City inspection, normally associated with this type of project, allowing the permit
to remain in effect.
2. Obtain a one-time, no -fee, 180-day extension of a non -expired permit by providing Neighborhood
and Building Services with a signed written letter requesting this extension.
AFTER THE PERMIT EXPIRES
3. Within 1 year of the original issue date or date of the last inspection, pay a renewal fee of half the
original building permit fee to reinstate the original expired permit.
4. After 1 year of the original issue date or date of the last inspection, obtain a new permit, by paying
the full permit fee.
FINAL INSPECTIONS REQUIRED
Final Inspections -are required -for all Issued—pe�mlts— It is unlawful to occupy space or operate
equipment, for which a permit was issued, without final approval by the City. It is the responsibility
of the permit applicant and property owner for complying with this requirement.
