RE: Structural Support for porch beam connection to existing structure wall
located at 618 Cowan Street (a.k.a. Lot 32, Still's Re -Subdivision), Fort
Collins, Larimer County, Colorado
Dear Mr. Hansen,
We have reviewed the loading on the new roof beam for the proposed porch roof
addition. Based on the minimal loading that will be applied, the end of the beam at the
existing wall can be supported with a Simpson Strong -Tie bracket attached to a
minimum of two (2) — 2" x 4" wood studs nailed together. If you have any questions,
