Location: 612 E. Pitkin St., Fort Collins Colorado
TDSE Project No.: 15-053
Observation Date: February 25th and May 19th, 2016
Plans/Details: Plans by TD Structural Engineering Inc. dated 10/13/15 and revised
10/29/15
Items Observed: wood framing
Notes:
The following items required attention on 2126/16 inspection and have be substantially
completed per our 6119/16 inspection:
1. Hurricane ' ties at each truss bearing location on interior bearing wall between flex room and
laundry room.
2. Strapping 'across all severed top plates.
3. inverted hangers were not installed at roof overhangs per detail 7/S3.2.
4. Change in window configuration in flex room requiring a (3) 7'/4" LVL header.
5. Squash blocking beneath all posts and trimmers.
6. LVL ledger connection at interior wall bearing wall between living room and hallway was
installed per plan with corrections completed since 2/25/16 inspection.
The following items still need correcting:
7. Trimmers, supporting garage door header with inadequate bearing need to be attached to
king studs with minimum ten 6" lag screws staggered, typical each side.
