2. ALL PLANTS SHALL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE USDA STANDARDS, MATERIAL TO BE INSPECTED
BY LA ON -SITE
3. ALL AREAS TO BE USED FOR PERENNIAL BEDS SHALL RECEIVE SOIL PREPARATION WITH AN APPLICATION OF 3
CUBIC YARDS OF NATIVE PEAT PER 1,000 SF TILLED INTO THE TOP 6" OF TOPSOIL.
4. PERENNIALS ARE TO BE PLANTED UNIFORMLY.
5. MULCH IS TO BE PLACED UNDER TREES AND SHRUBS AND IS TO BE CLEAN SHREDDED CEDAR
SPREAD TO A DEPTH OF 3" IN ALL PLANTING BEDS
NO WEED BARRIER FABRIC IS REQUIRED IN PERENNIAL BEDS.
6. ALL UTILITY EASEMENTS MUST REMAIN UNOBSTRUCTED AND FULLY ACCESSIBLE ALONG THEIR ENTIRE LENGTH.
7. IRRIGATION IS TO BE PROVIDED BY THE CONTRACTOR THROUGH THE FIRST HARD FROST.
THE CONTRACTOR MAY IRRIGATE IN THE EARLY SPRING TO MAINTAIN PLANT HEALTH
THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THE PLANT WARRANTEE. AFTER ACCEPTANCE, WATERING TO BE BY OWNER
EXIST. IRRIGATION SYSTEM TO BE MODIFIED TO PROVIDE DRIP IRRIGATION TO ALL NEW BEDS AND TREES.
8. PLANT MATERIAL WARANTEE: THE CONTRACTOR SHALL GUARANTEE PLANTS ARE
HEALTHY AND IN GOOD CONDITION THROUGH ONE FULL GROWING SEASON. MAINTENANCE
DURING THIS PERIOD IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR.
