GENERAL NOTES
1. ALL PORTIONS OF THE EXTERIOR WALLS OF THE FIRST STORY OF ALL BUILDINGS WILL BE
LOCATED WITHIN 150 FT. OF AN ACCESS ROADWAY IN WHICH EMERGENCY FIRE EQUIPMENT
CAN BE MANEUVERED OR THE BUILDING WILL BE PROVIDED WITH AN APPROVED FIRE
EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM..
2. REFER TO UTILITY PLANS FOR LOCATION OF UTILITIES AND DRAINAGE.

3. SIDEWALKA AND RAMPS WILL CONFORM TO CITY STANDARDS.
4. CONSTRUCTION IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN SPRING 2008.
5. PROPOSED EXTERIOR LIGHTING WILL BE POLE -MOUNTED LUMINARIES AT DRIVES AND PARKING
AREAS. BOTH POLE AND BUILDING -MOUNTED FIXTURES WILL FEATURE DOWN -DIRECTED AND
SHARP CUTOFF LUMINARIES.
8. ALL ROOFTOP AND GROUND MOUNTED MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT IS TO BE FULLY SCREENED
FROM PUBLIC VIEW WITH ROOF TOP PARAPET WALLS AND LANDSCAPING. CONDUITS, METERS,
VENTS, AND OTHER EQUIPMENT ATTACHED TO THE BUILDING OR PROTRUDING FROM THE ROOF
SHALL BE PAINTED TO MATCH SURROUNDING BUILDING SURFACES.
7. ALL SIGNS TO COMPLY WITH LOCAL SIGN CODE.
8. THE TRASH ENCLOSURE WILL BE MOUNTED ON CONCRETE AND BE CONSTRUCTED OF MATERIALS
TO MATCH THE BUILDING. ANY GATES WILL BE CONSTRUCTED OF A SOLID MATERIAL.
9. BIKE RACK IS TO BE PERMANENTLY ANCHORED TO CONCRETE AND WILL NOT INTERFER WITH
PEDESTRIAN WALKWAYS.
10. ALL HANDICAP PARKING SPACES AND RAMPS ARE TO BE VERIFIED WITH THE CIVIL ENGINEER FOR
GRADING, DRAINAGE, AND ACCESSIBLE ROUTE CONSIDERATIONS. HANDICAPED PARKING SPACES
SHOULD SLOPE NO MORE THAN 1:48 IN ANY DIRECTION. ALL ACCESSIBLE ROUTES SHOULD SLOPE
NO MORE THAN 1:20 IN THE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL AND NO MORE THAN 1:48 IN CROSS SLOPE.
11. ALL INTERNAL PEDESTRIAN WAYS SHALL BE DISTINGUISHED FROM DRIVING SURFACES THROUGH
THE USE OF DURABLE, LOW -MAINTENANCE SURFACE MATERIALS SUCH AS SCORED CONCRETE TO
ENHANCE PEDESTRIAN SAFETY AND COMFORT AS WELL AS ATTRACTIVENESS OF THE WALKWAYS.
12. CONTROL TYPE SCORING OF THE CONCRETE WILL OCCUR AT INTERVALS IN LENGTH EQUAL TO THE
WIDTH OF THE WALK THE SCORE PATTERN WITHIN THIS BLOCK WILL BE A MINIMUM OF 114" DEEP
AND WIDE. THE PATTERN IS TO BE A MINIMUM SCORING SPACING OF 16" O/C. OTHER PATTERNS
OR STAMPING TEMPLATE MAY BE USED IF THE PATTERN HAS AT LEAST THE DETAILING DESCRIBED
ABOVE.
13. ALL OUTSIDE FUNCTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE FAST FOOD DRIVE -UP RESTAURANT SHALL BE
FULLY SCREENED FROM PUBLIC VIEW.. SUCH FUNCTIONS MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO,
DELIVERY OPERATIONS, DRY STORAGE, LOADING DOCKS, TRASH RECEPTACLES AND THE LIKE.
SCREENING MATERIAL SHALL MATCH THE PREDOMINATE MATERIALS AND COLOR OF THE BUILDING.
WALK-IN COOLER AND FREEZER ARE TO BE INTERIOR TO THE BUILDING.
14. ELECTRICAL TRANSFORMERS AND NATURAL GAS EQUIPMENT SHALL BE FULLY SCREENED FROM
PUBLIC VIEW BYA SOLID HEDGE OF PLANT MATERIAL OR AN ENCLOSURE MEETING THE CLEARANCE -
SPECIFICATIONS OF LIGHT AND POWER. SUCH ENCLOSURES MUST MATCH THE PREDOMINATE
MATERIAL AND COLOR OF THE BUILDING. TRANSFORMERS MUST BE WITHIN TEN FEET OF HARD
SURFACES.
