LAND SURVEY CONTROL DIAGRAM
US Highway 287 MP 347.0 to 347.7
Sections 1, 2, 11, & 12
Township 7 North, Range 69 West
of the 6TH Principal Meridian
County of Larimer
Basis of Bearings: Bearings used in the calculations of coordinates are based
on a grid bearing of N00^36’24"E from CM-MP 347.2 to CM-MP 347.4.
Both monuments are CDOT Type I, marked appropriately for their milepost
location and control position. The survey data was obtained from a Global
Positioning System (GPS) survey based on City of Fort Collins Groundmaster
coordinates and subsequent project coordinates.
Basis of Elevations: Project elevations are based on Bench Mark V401,
PID: LL1016, a standard 9/16" stainless steel rod set in monument box,
with a City of Fort Collins NGVD29 elevation of 4974.639 ft. V401 is a 1st
order class II benchmark.
COORDINATE DATUM: Coordinates are based on the City of Fort Collins
Groundmaster System, being a custom transverse mercator projection.
Parameters of the projection are as follows: Ellipsoid; WGS84 Original latitude;
40^30’ 06.92556" Original longitude; 105^03’ 29.34852" False northing;
30480.061m False easting; 60960.122m Scale factor; 1.0002353698 with a
project height of 1524.00m. No adjustments of transformations were applied
to the projection. Meters to U.S. survey feet equation used was 3937/1200.
