Shumrad Oak is very similar and is compatible with Fort Collins soils. Change the Northern Red oak to Shumard Oak or to another adapted shade tree. The proposed project should be in the early to mid-design stage for this meeting to be effective and is typically scheduled after the Current Planning conceptual review meeting. Applicants of new commercial or multi-family projects are advised to call 416-2341 to schedule a pre-submittal meeting.
