Re: Annexation of REA Property in South Fort Collins
Pursuant to our discussion on the telephone, I want to memorialize the City's understanding as to
the annexation of the REA property.
The City can enter into a pre -annexation agreement which would pledge the City to cooperate with
the owner in disconnecting the property from the City if a certain development plan is not approved
by the City. A model for this type of agreement might be the pre -annexation agreement that was
negotiated regarding "The Ponds at Overland Trail" development.
If there is a desire to pursue such an agreement, please contact Paul Eckman, Deputy City Attorney.
