Vine Drive N.E. of Fort Collins September 1, 1994 Mr. Steve Olt Planning Division Larimer County P.O. Box 1190 Fort Collins, CO 80522 Dear Steve, I am providing a letter at your request to address the Department's review of the grading and drainage plans for the Waterglen subdivision. As stated in the'memorandum attached, dated June 14, 1994, the Department was requested to review the grading plans and berm for this development. The berm and noise abatement issue is still being resolved with -the assistance of the Environmental Unit of the Department. A letter will be forthcoming from Mr. John Crier regarding this issue. Our acceptance of the drainage and grading plan is the address of this letter. Although the issue of noise abatement measures, specifically the height of the berm and/or the proximity of development to the highway is still being reviewed, Mr. Crier has indicated that any adjustment of those features would have minimal effect, if any, upon the location of the berm. Therefore, it is assumed that the drainage configuration and rate would not be increased by changes of the noise abatement system since the berm height would not be decreased, and may, perhaps, be increased. Mr. John Springer, Senior,Highway Maintenance Supervisor., and T have both reviewed the grading plan which was submitted. Mr. Springer has inspected the site and we have both accepted the plan. Find attached a copy of the memorandum from Cityscape which was signed by John and I on July 27,1994. Please note that in our acceptance I lined out references to the berm (noise abatement).
