past 7 years in making the building for our church a
possibility. It appears that we are sooto be breaking ground, assuming the accomplishment of the
changes requested by City staff in yo(6/27/03).
Our engineers and designers are worto complete the adjustments necessary.
An adjustment we would likeve to make is the one referred to on the last page of your
report under "Zoning", Item #13. The I'o line" on our project's first phase will not be 15for a number
of reasons:
1. Our parking area on the east and south is located to allow for easy access for daycare/preschool
families and to promote quick snowmelt. That moves our overall buildout to the north half of the site.
2. The second building will have perhaps a 38-40,000 sf footprint and connect to the first building via a
breezeway or wide travel area. We have allowed for that possibility in our first building's design. This
future connect necessitates a central positioning of the building in the construction area. That will not
allow us to satisfy the 15' build -to line requirement.
For that reason we are requesting a modification procedure to allow for our plan.
