Morningside Drive deadends and if a cul-de-sac turn around cannot be provided per City
street standards, the proposed buildings are out of access.
In the Uniform Fire Code, section 10.302, Fire Apparatus access roads shall be provided
for every facility, building or portion of a building hereafter constructed or moved into or
within the jurisdiction when any portion of the facility or any portion of an exterior wall of
the first story of the building is locate more than 150 feet form fire apparatus access as
measured by an approved route around the exterior of the building or facility.
Exception: When buildings are completely protected with an approved automatic
fire sprinkler system, the provisions of this section may be modified by the chief.
