The overall height would increase to an elevation of approximately 41'-10" (say 42 feet) 2. You had requested information related to the amount of reduction and horizontal flat area if the roof is cut flat in lieu of extending to the peak. As discussed above, we would need to reduce 2 feet in height which would cause the total horizontal length of flat roof to be eight feet (8'). 3. As we discussed, my other large aesthetic concern is that by raising the roof for the entire structure, the area above the window height will aesthetically raise the entire building by approximately sixteen inches (16"), not just a portion of the building. This will require additional siding to be exposed and affect the character of the entire structure. Please call with any questions. Donald E.
