Dear Mr. Goddard:
I have received your February 7, 2001 letter and your request for information and/or
documents.
Regarding the hearing officer, please contact Cameron Gloss, the Director of Current
Planning, to ascertain the name of the hearing officer. I do not know the name of the hearing officer.
Steve Olt has advised me that the City does not establish the date and time of hearings
without first consulting with the applicant as to the applicant's availability to attend such a hearing,
and, as far as I know, no date has yet been set. I typically am not apprised of these hearing.
The documents that will be submitted to the hearing officer are, unless confidential or
privileged, available from the Planning Department prior to the hearing. Please inquire of the
Planning Department as to any staff recommendations that they may be providing to the hearing
officer.
You have asked for a copy of any applicable rules or regulations. A copy of the Land Use
Code may be purchased from the City Clerk or it is available on the internet at the City Clerk website
at the following internet address: 1.

The Land Use Code is also available at the public library and it may be available at the Courthouse
library.
