Mtg Troy - You requested and reminder for your meeting this afternoon, so here you go. Please present our questions and concerns regarding the true needs along the Mason Street frontage of the Garth Commercial Plaza site - specifically in regards to the pedestrian walk, treelawn, and potential right-of-way issue. As we discussed last week, the applicant recognizes the need for a walk and some landscaping along Mason Street - but is very concerned about the impact of some of the various requests of the city on the site plan. His first, and strongest, preference is to continue the existing condition along Mason Street, with an attached walk, and additional landscaped area between the sidewalk and parking area. =1f the walk being attached is a huge stumbling block for staff, we'd like to concur with the solution includinq all the area between the curb_ne and t right-of-way_ ine as.___ elawn and install a 6' walk in a public access, easement along the eastern boundary of the site. -Any additional right-of-way required along Mason Street will devastate the site planning and building size of this project, and may cause an indefinite delay. While reviewing this issue, we'd like staff to keep in mind that this is a relatively small inf ill development along a largely developed Mason Street. Our proposal will improve upon the existing architecture and landscaping along this corridor, while attempting to fit into the context of existing development. If anyone at the meeting has questions or concerns they'd like to discuss with me, please feel free to have them contact me. Thanks, Troy. Let me know the outcome of the meeting, when you get the chance. Kimberly Straw, AICP Cityscape Urban Design, Inc. 3555 Stanford Rd., Ste. 105 Ft.
